Reddit Intelligence
Hear what communities say before assistants repeat it.
Reddit threads are read by buyers and often surface in search and AI answers. SearchFirefly follows the conversations about your brand, your competitors and your sector, community by community.
Public posts and comments, no author names. Brand, competitors and sector are never added together. Sentiment is estimated.
What you see
Three conversations, never mixed.
Your brand
Posts and comments that name you: what people ask, recommend or complain about.
Your competitors
Threads that name a competitor you follow without naming you: where you are missing from the conversation.
Your sector
Discussions about your category that name no tracked brand: the questions buyers ask in their own words.
Communities
The subreddits where these conversations happen, ranked by volume.
Every item, linked
Date, community, post or comment, estimated sentiment, brands cited and topic, with a link to the thread.
Privacy by design
Only public content, and never the author’s name.
“Is a refillable candle worth it compared with buying new ones?”
In r/ZeroWaste, the top reply recommends Atelier Cire and links to its refill cost calculator. No thread mentions Maison Lumen, although your refills are cheaper.
Use it
From a thread to a decision.
Sector conversations are a direct line to the questions buyers ask before they choose. They feed your AI question set, your FAQ and your content briefs. Competitor threads show where a recommendation is made without you.
- Turn recurring questions into tracked AI questions
- Answer objections on your own pages
- Spot a complaint before it spreads
Method
How Reddit is read.
Public content only
Posts and comments that anyone can read. Private communities are not covered.
Three natures, separate counts
Brand, competitor and sector items are counted and listed apart, never added together.
Sentiment estimated
Estimated from the text and labelled as an estimate.
Monthly
Conversations are collected monthly; a first measurement shows a state, not a trend.
Questions, answered
What does SearchFirefly collect from Reddit?
Public posts and comments that mention your brand, a competitor you follow, or your sector. Author names are never shown.
Why are brand, competitor and sector conversations kept apart?
Because they answer different questions. Adding them together would make a quiet brand look busy. Each one has its own count, list and communities.
Is the sentiment reliable?
It is an estimate, labelled as such. Read it as a signal to open the thread, not as a verdict.
Which plan includes Reddit?
Reddit discussions are part of the Scale plan.
Does SearchFirefly post or reply on Reddit?
No. SearchFirefly reads public conversations. It never posts, votes or replies.
